Online Payment
The normal process for a company or organisation offering online payments and credit
card transactions usually involves your bank, a credit card company, an internet
payment gateway, a web developer, an internet service provider, bank accounts, gateway
accounts and a veritable cast of thousands. ePaymentWare aims to take the cost,
time and pain out of receiving payments online for small to medium size businesses.
Setting up online payment usually involves:
- Your bank – to apply for a credit card facility that requires a
bank account for your funds to go into.
- A credit card company – you will need to set up a merchant facility
which is usually done via your bank.
- An internet payment gateway – you will need to connect your merchant
facility to the payment gateway with a one cost and further transactional costs.
- A web developer – to set up the website and payment gateway facilities.
- An ISP to serve your website (with additional costs to run your
payment facility to make your site secure)
The new ePaymentWare solution does not even require you to have a website, never
mind all the other bits and pieces! The new way:
- Sign up to the ePaymentWare site of your choice.
- Provide bank account and company/organisation details including
company logo if required.
- Pay the annual subscription fee.
- You can now take credit card payments from your clients and customers.
